Ressa Lucas Memorial Fund for Young Children
The Ressa Lucas Memorial Fund for Young Children was established to promote the social, emotional, educational and physical well-being of our youngest citizens, from infancy through age 5.
The Ressa Lucas Memorial Fund for Young Children honors a child loved by all at St. Thomas'. Ressa Lucas (2005-2008) brought joy to all who knew him for the short time he was with us.
The Fund started with a $12,000 Mustard Seed Grant to be used for a new Outreach Program from the Foundation for the Episcopal Diocese of Wyoming, plus donations in memory of Ressa. The Mission of the Fund is to promote the social, emotional, educational and physical well-being of our youngest citizens, from infancy through age 5.

Funds may be used for programs or projects. Programs at the Library, classes at the day cares and at CWC for toddlers, many other enrichment activities for children, and educational supplies have all been supported by the Fund. Selective individual requests may also be considered for needs not covered by other resources.
Those who loved Ressa have continued to donate to the Fund so that it will become a sustainable presence in the town of Dubois. Donations may be made to the St. Thomas Church Office, directed to the Ressa Lucas Fund.
